Hi....greetings from Australia.. I am looking for details on an ancestor. She originally was born in Tradeston, Glasgow Sept. 20th 1866...her parents werre..John Wilkie Innes, and Ellen Napier Young. Her mother died in 1876( 42 yrs old)...and her father and only brother came to Australia. John to West Australia, and Charles Napier Innes(her brother ) to Adelaide..South Australia..(my G Grandfather). I have just looked at the 1881 Census and see that on that day...Ellen and her younger Sister..Annie Young Innes(who died in 1886)...were at the home of an Aunt..Elizabeth C Young (actually..her mother's sister).. Ellen was 14 at the time. I am trying to find out when and if she married?? I have been onto the Internet and paid with my Visa..for details of a marriage./death record...but NOTHING!! Can anyone help me??? I will in turn be willing to look up any information in Australia if a kind person wants any assistance. I REALLY have hit a brick wall...and it is not worth wasting money on my credit card everytime I register to make an enquiry. I would like something for the money I have wasted. in my searches.
