Hello to you all, I have been tracking a family in Glasgow that I *believe* to be relatives (long story, but the son of James Edward TAYLOR ended up in Peru, which is where my great grandfather Alexander TAYLOR was born and there are similar names in the families). In one of the Glasgow directories (1874) James Edward was listed as doing business in Glasgow, but his home address was given as Dunclutha Helensburgh. Does anyone know what that may refer to - I assume it means he lived in Helensburgh, but what is Dunclutha? I also believe he died soon after that time, as his widow is in Bothwell in 1881 as an "annuitant" age 36. Is it likely that he left a will? If he died in Helensburgh how can I find a will and/or a burial place? Thanks for any help. Barbara Vellturo Vermont, USA
