I found a family on the 1851 census as follows: Agnes Stevenson - widow age 57; James 23, Janet 18, Mary 18. Their last names were Wallace. All born Old Kirkpatrick Dunbartonshire. This census was in Glasgow. As far as I know my Wallace line begins Dunbartonshire, goes to Glasgow where son James married Mary Buchanan, then moves to Bo'ness where 8 children were born. Names: Mary, James, John the first, John the second, Alexander Booth, Agnes, William. Of these children both Johns died as did William. Mary married John Henderson in 1872. After he died she moved to Glasgow. The 1861 Bo'ness census has the Wallaces at 165 North Street, 1871 census on East Street.
