He lives in West Homestead, Allegheny Co., Penna., USA. This is just about 10 miles east of Pittsburgh. His father was Robert McCrimmon born 1887 in/near Dumbartonshire Scotland. He married Elizabth Anderson born about 1889, also in/near Dumbartonshire, whose maiden name was maybe Duff or Duffy. My cousin Donna McCrimmon says she has copy of a lament written by still another Donald McCrimmon of the 1700's and that her McCrimmon's were pipers and warriors to the Clan McLeod on Isle of Skye (Dunvegan Castle?). I have Robert and Elizabeth and their children {Elizabeth, Donald and Jessie} in the 1930 Allegheny Co. Penna. census but I have not been able to find them in the 1920 census or their parents in either the USA or UK census data. I did not find them in the Ellis Island listing of ships passengers. I found Robert's WWI draft registration card dated 1917 wherein he spelled his name MacCrimmon. I did not find them in the McC/MacCrimmon Family Ge! nealogical Registry also I left several similar messages elsewhere on the Isle of Skye McC/MacCrimmon message board Do you recognize any of these names
