Hi John, This is indeed the John that I am looking for. Mainly I am trying to find his parents and information on them. When I looked at the OPR it showed a Donald MacNaughton which could be the right one but as it didn't show his wife I am not sure. Thank you for your help. By 1841 census he may be married and with wife and children or moved away from the area. The census search does not have a Donald and or Marion in the parish. There are a couple of John McNaught with wife and children but may not be yours. Regards John Hello, I have a John McNaught born in 1801 and his sister in 1799, in Bonhill area. Does anyone have access to the records of Bonhill to see if these two are on it with their parents?
