Dear List Members, I am at present, with reference to the comment from Len, attempting to shorten the list name or I could eliminate it entirely but in doing so I have no idea whether your message is sent to this list or some other. If the rootsweb staff are able to abbreviate the name then I would be in agreement and if any of you know of an acceptable abbreviation then I would submit it to the person who would make the adjustment. Respectfully, chester@montego.com -----Original Message-----Len wrote: From: leonard.davies@virgin.net <leonard.davies@virgin.net> To: Chester <Chester> Date: Saturday, December 19, 1998 12:10 PM Subject: [DUNBARTONSHIRE-GENWEB-L] Re: Subject Descriptors Is it possible to have more meaningful Subject Descriptors as all the abbreviated subjects read the same, ie, DUMBARTONSHIRE-GEN When trying to read lots of mail it would help if these prefix's were omitted, to allow the real subject to be seen. Thanks Len ==== DUNBARTONSHIRE-GENWEB Mailing List ==== Welcome to your Dunbartonshire-GenWeb mailing list for people who are researching their descendants.
