Hello to all Dunbartonshire list members.....I am delighted to be the new listowner of this list, and I would like to thank Chester Cowan for getting this mailing list started and for his hard work and dedication to this project. Chester has asked me to send you all his best wishes for a prosperous New Year. I have been the host for the Dunbartonshire GenWeb site for almost 9 months and have enjoyed helping many of you with your Dunbartonshire Queries. Some of you have questioned the length of the Mailing list name...it may be a little long, but it's not going to stop any of us from accomplishing what we need to on this Mailing List. It is so NEAT that we have this kind of technology to help us with our research. I'm excited about serving you in this capacity, and please let me know if there is anything I can do to serve you better. I am new at this list business and I will make mistakes. Please be patient with me. Forgive me for the long message, but I also want to say that my mother was born in Dunbartonshire (Clydebank) and I still have cousins living there. I have visited the area twice and it is a GREAT part of Scotland, and I'm proud of my Dunbartonshire heritage!
