Greetings I am interested in finding out more about the FERRIER family who stayed at Craigend Cottage, Cardross, in the late 1700s. William Ferrier married Mary FISHER in Cardross 0n 25 Dec 1784. They had at least 9 children. William is described as a farmer. Does Craigend Cottage still exist? Does the farm? When my ancestor Mary Ferrier (m Robert Taylor) died in 1870 she died in the house in which she was born, Craigend Cottage, although it was her son-in-law, John ROBB who then lived there.
