James was born in 1792 and Mary was born May 1, 1804 both natives of Dunbartonshire. Mary married Alexander Gardner May 26, 1826 at Kilmaronock, Dunbartonshire, Scotland. They emigrated to Goderich, Huron Co., Ontario, Canada about 1835. Unsure of the name of James' spouse...she may be Mary J. Williams who is buried near him at Goderich. Mary (Miller) Gardner died July 14, 1879 at Goderich and her brother James died at Goderich January 23, 1855 at Goderich.
