Hi MAribeth This is a surprise. Several of the names mentioned, particularly those connected to Duncan McFarlane below are my relations. My great grandmother was Agnes Smith McFarlane b. 1834, sister of Duncan. I have noted that Agnes and Christina moved to USA and I never managed to research beyond that point.
