Hello Listers: I am trying to trace ancestors and relatives in Scotland of James Warden. He was born August 10, 1809 near Cumbernauld, Dunbartonshire. He emigrated to Lower Canada (now Quebec) sometime between 1831 and 1834, and settled in the Huntingdon area. He married a Margaret Smellie from East Medox Lanark, Scotland in 1830. According to IGI, he was James Wardan and his parents were John Wardan and Jean McCulloch. He had two sisters Mary Wardan born November 24, 1805, Agnes born April 26, 1807 and a brother Robert born March 3, 1803. Thank you and take care, Verlan Shorey
