Hi Everyone, I'm a new subscriber from Australia and am researching my ggg/grandparents Archibald McFARLAN(E) and Mary E(I)RVINE who were married in the parish of Old Kirkpatrick in Dunbarton on 17 March 1843. I have just received their marriage certificate, so as yet know little else about them. The IGI lists the following as children of Archibald McFARLAN(E), labourer and Mary I(E)rvin(ING)e: John McFARLANE b. 1844 in Old Kirkpatrick, Dunbarton Alexander Irving McFARLANE b. 1846 in Old Kirkpatrick, Dunbarton Mary Jane McFARLANE b. 1850 in Colton, Barony, Lanark, c. 1852 in Glasgow, Lanark (my gg/grandmother). Catherine McFARLANE c. 1851, Barony, Lanark Janet McFARLANE b. 1855, in Govan, Lanark Marion McCulloch McFARLANE b. 1858 in Govan, Lanark Would be interested to hear from anyone with interest in any of these names.
