    3. Hello Jean Joseph McAuslane and Jean didn't by any chance have a son Alexander who married Margaret CHALMERS on 28 November 1829 in Row parish? Margaret was sister to my great great grandmother Christian CHALMERS (married Duncan McCALLUM 1839 Row parish) and I have details on descendants of both sisters. Did your Peter McFarlane have a sister Margaret who married Donald McCallum (probably the marriage recorded in 1780 in New Kilpatrick) with family born mostly in Luss, and last one in Row, including son Peter McCallum born 1791 Luss, and Duncan McCallum, born 1798 Luss (married to Christian Chalmers)? I also have a connection on a different line to some MacFarlanes/McFarlands in Dumbarton parish - William MacFarlane and wife Christian McKinlay, daughter Martha )born June 1764, married 1788 in Dumbarton to John Greenhill from Paisley) and son William born c 1767/8. Any connections between our families?
