Hi Listers: I have a John Howat that was born 21 May 1868 in Cowan's Bog, five months later he was vaccinated at Luggie Bridge - both addressess in Kirkintilloch Parish. Can anyone tell me where these places might have been? I have been searching for the where-abouts of the Howat family (actualy his grandparent's) in Kirkintillock, but have not found them on the Census. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
