Hello again, I have discovered that my great grandmother's brother was a footballer, so far I am restricted to searching via the internet and can't find much information about him. All I know so far is that his name was JOHN PRYCE he was from Renton. The info I have from my dad is that he thinks he first played for THE VALE OF LEVEN and RENTON, then went on to play for HIBERNIAN while there in 1897 he played for SCOTLAND against WALES at Wrexham. My dad thought he was transferred to THE WEDNESDAY (now Sheffield Wednesday) in 1901, but I looked on the SWFC website and found that he had his first game with them in 1899 and last in 1901. My dad said that during a match he was kicked in the head, which ended his career and he died a year later as a result. Would anyone know of any sites which I could find out some more info.
