Does anyone have access to the Poor House Indexes? I am interested in the information about George HOWAT who died in the Kirkintilloch Poor House 14 November 1873. His first wife was Marion BURNS who had apparently died. Wife at time of death was Margaret WARDROSS. I have been unable to find any trace of George in Kirkintilloch. Isobel, Uxbridge, Ontario.
