I recently traced my first set of ancestors back to the "old country". I recently came across the christening record for my grt-grt grandmother Elisabeth Houston. It occured 16 Aug. 1846 in Cumbernauld, Dunbarton, Scotland. Since this is the first sold location to Scotland I hoped I might find some help here in obtaining more information. Her parents were listed as David Houston and Flora Campbell. This is all I really know. If any one has any ideas about where I should look for birth records for Elisabeth, any siblings, and information on David and Flora, please let me know. The miracle of course is that somebody already has all this information and needed a line of decandents for Elisabeth, which I have a partial list at the moment.
