She has info for our Dunbartonshire listers also.....(do not reply to author or it will return to Barbara Lewis...write to Liz directly--she is not on the Dunbartonshire mailing list) I have downloaded the 2% of the 1851 Census that's online for Dumbartonshire and made Excel files, no more of those /// that makes it difficult to read. I have made both index and extract files for the following: Bonhill Dumbarton Barracks Helensburgh Prison Kirkintilloch Jail If anyone would prefer the files in MS Word format I can convert them, however the Word files will be zipped as they are much larger than the Excel files. I'm using Excel 2000, I can reformat the Excel files to any earlier version required, just let me know which version of Excel you need.
