    3. Hello Jean First of all are you staying in the town of Dumbarton ?.a lot of people mix up the Town of DUMBARTON and DUNBARTONSHIRE,you probably mean the town but I'm just checking. Second..Do you mean the Village of Old Kilpatrick,or the Parish ?. In the Parish Church in Old Kilpatrick there quite a few entries of your names in my Tombstone Inscriptions Booklet. Two BAIN, Seven STEWART Four LANG and two LAING Six BROCK. There are other graveyards in the Old Kilpatrick area,Old Dalnottar and New Dalnottar and one in Clydebank,Kilbowie Cemetery. It's been a LONG time since I travelled from Old Kilpatrick to Dumbarton, but I think it's about 30 Min or less. Another Lister could probably give you the distance in miles. Cheers Frank McGonigal... from a very cold but not so snowy Brampton Ont.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Erin & Mark" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, February 11, 2007 2:04 PM Subject: [DUNB] Query > Hello List > > If anyone has access to the monument inscription list of Old Kilpatrick > could anyone check for any BAINS, STEWARTS, LANGS and BROCKS. > > A friend of mine and I hope to come to Dumbarton in Sept so any tips would > be appreciated.
