Hello Brent No information on the parents/birthdate/birthplace of my Donald. Have you been through the Luss OPR as I have notes on many other McCallums there including your Donald McCallum & Janet Turner? My Donald may be linked to Old Kilpatrick (IF he is the one who married Margaret MacFarlane there) but I have not yet been through the Old Kilpatrick register to see if there are any clues there not showing on the IGI index. Our local branch of NZ Society of Genealogists has copies of some MI transcriptions done some time ago by various Scottish FHS groups so I will look again at these for Luss but from recollection from previous looks at the MIs they weren't much help with my particular family - several Donald McCallums though. Have you seen these MI transcriptions?
