Malcolm is on 1851 Census Dumbarton with wife Margaret and son Alexander (2 yrs). Is on 1861 Census Renton, Margaret and Alexander 14 yrs. Alexander gave information for his father's death cert. in 1872, listing his father's parents as John Macfarlane and Fanny McGregor both deceased. A Malcolm on the 1841 Census, Dumbarton, but with a Janet McFarlane and Archibald 7, Malcolm Jr. 3, John 1 No relationships of course. This poses several questions. Does anybody have any connections?
