Thanks, Anne If you haven't already booked it, and you aren't spending the majority of your time in Edinburgh (or elsewhere on the East Coast) you might want to think about flying into Glasgow airport (GLA - not Prestwick). It is very close to Dumbarton and Alexandria. >From Edinburgh airport you need to follow the signs for the M8 westbound to Glasgow. Go straight through Glasgow and carry on the M8 to the Erskine Bridge (which means crossing the River Clyde twice, but an easier and faster journey than following the A82 from the centre of Glasgow). Once over the Erskine bridge you join the A82 going westbound about 4 miles out from Dumbarton. Bonhill is a suburb of Dumbarton and on the left just as you get there. Alexandria is a little bit further on and well signed from the A82 and Bonhill. Google maps are pretty useful for finding places and getting directions. These work for the UK and if you have either a street address or a postcode (UK version of the zip) then you can find where you want. If you have trouble with it wanting to show you bits of the States then try using www.google.co.uk -- James Kemp see Alexander at http://www.ajkemp.org/gallery/ or my games at http://www.full-moon.info/
