However, I'd not be surprised if there was an earlier link considering that Kirkintilloch and Cumbernauld (Village) theirselves are only 6 1/2 mls apart and they are after all contiguous Parishes. Indeed Braes of Yeat (Yetts) where Robert Hailed from, and Auchenkiln, where he stayed after his marriage, are only 3 mls apart. Regards Les
