    3. You will probably be flooded with responses to your question but here is the first response - Go to SCOTLAND'S PEOPLE (just Google it). You can get BDMs online for a very small charge. It's an excellent site with lots of help screens if you are stuck. 3. Ruth, Some of the Ayrshire cemeteries have been done by local Ayrshire Family History Societies. I am not sure if Lanark has been done but some Lanarkshire cemeteries have been done by Lanarkshire FHS. Some are just transcriptions of stones and some include photographs. Glasgow & West of Scotland FHS have theirs listed on: www.gwsfhs.org.uk on publications page Jay

Unfortunately, I have not yet uncovered their death dates. I know that their last child was born in June of 1797, so possibly sometime after this. I don't know the average lifespan for that time. All I know is his name is James Douglass born about 1755 and his wife is Mary Wallace born June 8 1755. I wish I had more info for you. Thank you for offerning to go search for them for me. I don't know if you are still able to since I was not able to give you their death dates. I will go check out those photos on flickr and see what I can find. Thank you again!!! The other Cemeteries in the Vale of Leven are Bonhill Parish Church, Alexandria Parish Church and from the late 1800's Vale of Leven Cemetery, If you have a rough date of death and think they were buried in Renton I could have a look at the gravestones for you. I dont know if any one has a photo of the blacksmith shop in renton but if you go to Flickr.com and type in vale of leven 1900's you'll find some old photo's of the Vale of Leven which Renton village was part off George Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 1. [DUNB] McRob/MacKlem/Lang
    2. Peter & Janice Lodge
    3. Hoping to find further information on John McRob who married Elisabeth Macklem about 1696-97 probably in Old Kilpatrick ~ they had two sons christened in Old Kilpatrick.... Patricke Nov 1697 and William 26 May 1700. Do not know parents of John McRob or Elisabeth Macklem???? Estimated date of birth for John McRob and Elisabeth Macklem would be about 1670.   William McRob married 1726 to Janet Lang, she perhaps the daughter of William Lang of Kirkintilloch?   Perhaps others have McRob, Macklem and Lang in this timeframe?   Janice         "Freedom and Unity"
