    3. Hello to all My interest in Dunbartonshire is in the birth there in Old Kilpatrick of my g grandmother Jane MACDONALD. Her father was Donald MACDONALD and her mother Christina MCCALLUM. I have found no record of their marriage but Donald came from Corriebeg, Argyll. I have also not been able to confirm anything about Christina but she must have died fairly soon after Jane was born as Donald moved on through Glasgow and ended up in Ayr where he remarried an Elizabeth KENNEDY in 1846. Jane would have been born in 1838 if her age is correct in the 1851 census. Hope there is someone there who may have suggestions or know of this family. I have much more about Donald and his family if it links with anyone I would love to share. Isla Nottingham Whangamata New Zealand

    2. Hi Researchers... I'm Scott Rippe, in Madison, Wisconsin. I'm researching PATRICK CONNOLLY and MARY FOLAN, who were married in Renton in 1858. They had seven children (that I know of): JOHN S., PATRICK, DANIEL, MICHAEL, ELLEN (NELLIE), MARGRET and MAYME. Part of that family came to the States in about 1869, settling in Clinton, Iowa. It's possible that the FOLAN name later became FOLEY in US Census records. Scott

    3. Hi Barbara Sorry, I mislaid your direct inquiry - go to directly to http://www.calmac.co.uk/gettingthere/ttmapclyde.html to see current routes. Looks as though you will have to do two individual trips to cover both Dunoon and Rothesay The other alternative is to go to http://www.calmac.co.uk/ and browse from there - the hopscotch routes look interesting, but don't duplicate the route you are seeking. regards Peter PS I'll add a link to the front end Caledonian McBrayne page on the McPhun index page at the next update -----Original Message----- From: Barbara Lewis <lewisb@vitrex.net> To: DUNBARTONSHIRE-GENWEB-L@rootsweb.com <DUNBARTONSHIRE-GENWEB-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Saturday, 23 October 1999 22:02 Subject: Tour available today? >Dear listers...I've been noting these Peter Cook Tours that were available >years ago, that have been brought to our attentnion. .
