Hello Listers. Is there anyone who could put me on the path to finding my ggf who ran away to sea from a Scottish port, (probably on the Clyde) at age 14 in 1859 or soon thereafter by stowing away or joining the crew? Looking for information about the parents and siblings of Thomas Cloudsdale and his wife Mary McFarland. In 1767 they left Scotland and settled in Philadelphia. Thomas and Andrew died during the American Revolution and by 1788, Mary was living in Dumbertonshire, Scotland. Any assistance will be appreciated.
