    3. Hi Listers Could I make a plea. Please DON'T send postings without a subject. As I receive postings in Digest form, from a number of Lists, it means I have to open those without a subject to see what they refer to. Where I receive e-mails in List form my Filter consigns anything without a subject to the Deleted Items bin and unless I scan this, rather defeating the object of my Filter, I'm going to miss items. Also please don't use the Digest reference as the Subject. Many thanks Les

The only one that I have off top of my head is my grandfather. Robert McKenzie born in Cumbernauld in 1855. He married Grace Brown Smith either 1884 or 85. He left for the USA in 1886. He was a stone cutter/carver. Are you related to McKenzie family from Cumbernauld? I am going to check out Scotland's People soon for the date of death of James McKenzie born around 1808-1810. Hello all, I've just returned from a trip to Scotland and literally fell into a church yard full of headstones at Luss, beside Loch Lomond with one of my family surnames, Macfarlane, mentioned on 40-50 headstones. Is there a website or list that I can search to see if these stones and monuments have been transcribed? Unfortunately, I didn't have time to write out all of the details on the MI's, but I did take many photos. Thank you for any help. Edna Chambers

James removed to Edmonton, Alberta in 1912 to work on the construction of several buildings and bridges for the new capital city of the new province. The rest of the family followed by 1914. James M.     3. New to list, and posting interest. Would love to contact living family of Bridget Millar, born in Belturbet, Co Cavan abt 1882, daughter of William Millar and Catherine Doogan. Bridget married William Morton, and they lived in Airdrie at least from 1913 - 1915, their family possibly included Ernest and Albert. She married Albert Dickson in July 1916 and they lived in Airdrie until sometime after 1924. Family of Bridget and Albert possibly Alex and David. They moved back to Airdrie during WWII but returned to Clydebank afterwards. Bridget died in 1953 in Clyde Place, Clydebank. Please contact me if you connect to this family.     3. Hello Listers: I am trying to trace ancestors and relatives in Scotland of James Warden. He was born August 10, 1809 near Cumbernauld, Dunbartonshire. He emigrated to Lower Canada (now Quebec) sometime between 1831 and 1834, and settled in the Huntingdon area. He married a Margaret Smellie from East Medox Lanark, Scotland in 1830. According to IGI, he was James Wardan and his parents were John Wardan and Jean McCulloch.
