With deepest regret I have to report the death in October 2010 of Graham William DUNBAR, Kilconzie the Younger, at the age of 90. I received the news today, in a note from his dear widow Alice. You may recall that Graham's father, Lt. Col. Sir William Henry George Dunbar of Kilconzie, was unsuccessful in his attempt to be recognised as the head of the Dunbar line. The legal decision was made in favour of Jean Ivor Dunbar, who succeeded as the 13th. Baronet of Mochrum. The present head is his son, Sir James Michael Dunbar, 14th. Baronet of Mochrum, who to my knowledge was resident in North Carolina in 2008. Over the years Graham and I corresponded infrequently, and on a visit to their home in Hertfordshire, England, I was given a copy of the research notes for his father's book 'Dunbar 1000 Years'.
