I believe his father was Joel Dunbar and his grandfather was James L Dunbar. I know of his cousin Merritt R Dunbar and his father Talmage Dunbar. My grandmother was Wilma and they were married in Miami Dade County. As I understand my grandfathers mother was a full blooded Cherokee Indian.
