We use to live in Port Huron, MI. I agree, we have had a very hard time connecting the dots in this family. Did you grandmother have a sister Elizabeth (Lizzy)? What we know so far, is John Owen (my g grandfather) was born in 1876 - where??? He came to USA in 1895, married Anna Brown in 1899. Their children are: Dorothy P, Helen L, Sidney E, and Kenneth G. John Owen (my g grandfather) Kenneth G Dunbar (my grandfather) William C Dunbar is my father. We have death cert on John Owen and also house land contract he purchased, I believe from Lizzy -sister?
