Has anyone checked the website SRY 2627 where John Dunbar of Connecticut's ydna is listed in the same place as my brother's ydna as being virtually identical ydna. My brother's kit number is listed as 58632 in the Donnachaidh ydna project. It seems there was a Robertson family that split about a thousand years ago, one brother a Robertson and the other a Dunbar. That was about the time of William the Conqueror. I emailed your Dunbar dna coordinator who disavowed any relationship. My brother has a rare haplogroup which is why he is listed on the SRY 2627 website. In any case, family is family. A very interesting twist to family genetics! Lois Robertson Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
