In fact, it does not really matter. So many generations have gone past that I really don't see a major connection. As people we are often created by the opportunities available and the environment we live in. My mother was a classy lady and her father, John was a remarkable man. He was a natural leader and a natural athlete. They were both nice looking and intelligent. What else can you ask for. "They are my family. Not these names on the commputer. I was surprised at every new discovery and it was fun. I had expected more of ancestry.com. You pay them to help. I do know, however, that they use us to keep track of us. I am no sure why they are so committed to keeping track of the human race, but it that rings their bell--so be it. I am in the process of creating a new tree. But it is really hard to keep the Massachusetts people out of it. Thanks again for your kind words and help.
