Especially when there is so much written evidence, such as the Millenium File and so on. I will agree that Robert was too young to be a knight. I also have evidence of Robert being indentured to Mr. Foote. If we can prove who Robert is not. Then there should be some evidence of who he was. Were the Scottish Dunbars aristocrats or peasants?
