I think Charles abandoned his family for Mary Comstock and this one year old is Mary's child. The 1860 census (Monroe,Mass.)shows Fanny Dunbar 58 in the household of Olive Roberts 63. These things happen , my ggrandmother was a bigamist . Oh well.
