A Mary Comstock is in the household with a daughter ( Nancy ) age 1 , who carries the last name Dunbar. I was hard pressed to find where Fanny went "IF" Mary and Charles left this family . In the 1860 census for Monroe , Mass a Fanny Dunbar age 58 ( Right age ) living Olive Roberts age 63. I think Michigan is used as a birth place to avoid the past history of abandonment .
