If you go to Familysearch.org(the LDS site)and type in William Dunbar, 1850, California two records are of note- a marriage to Mahala Asbell in San Joaquin Co. and death of 1851-1857 in Calif. Is this your William? There was one issue from this union. I personally am not decended from them but my cousin is, and would like any info. Thanks so much.
