Robert Dunbar of Hingham, Massachusetts, captured at the Battle of Dunbar in 1650 and indentured to the Saugus Iron Works as we refer to it today, is not Ninian's son. Sir Ninian's son Robert died in the 1660s, if memory serves me, in Scotland. Recent DNA reserch has indicated Robert is connected to a family in the area of Wigtown, Scotland, but parents remain unknown.
