Janet Young. The site is the Dunbar Extract from "American Family Antiquity" by Albert Welles 1880. I don't know anything about a 1st wife. This book and Burke's Peerage only shows one wife: "He married, about 1734, the daughter of Count de Chambaud, of Montreal, in Canada and had issue.." These two publications connect you with the House of Dunbar dating back to Crinan b. 975 and the Dunbar of Mochrum line. I'm the Administrator, along with Tom Dunbar the Clan Dunbar Genealogist, of the DNA Project. My father was the 1st Dunbar to test for this very important study. We have the Y-DNA of 3 confirmed House of Dunbar descendants, 2 from the Mochrum line. It sure would be helpful if we could get a 3rd from the Mochrum line.
