I'd like to find his 1st wife's family, his children and if possible, his background. I know he married (2nd) a Therese Josephe Fuery d'Eschambault in Montreal about 1764 and had two daughters. He was a Captain in the 44th Regiment of Foot stationed in Nova Scotia for part of the French-Indian wars. Later he became a Major in the 84th Regiment of Foot(Royal Highland Emigrants) and was involved in the American Revolution.
