[Dunbardna.org] There was also a John Dunbar who was in Philadelphia around 1770 and later in Lancaster Co. His descendants are also members of Lin. Grp II. Another member of the same group has an ancestor who came from NI to MA in the 1840's so he has a known point of origin. All of the YDNA results of these members of Lin.Grp. II match very closely at 67 markers so a fairly close relationship is implied. Yours, Tom Dunbar Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Hello Diana, I would love to help, but unfortunately cannot. I was surprised to find in my database (now over 60,000 names) just one Prudence DUNBAR listed; she was born in 1855 in Ireland so sadly is not yours. I have several IRVIN's (and variatiants) listed, but no Benjamin. If you find siblings or parents for Prudence please contact me again and I'll see if I can help. <Trying once more - no answer last year to this post..... I can understand your frustration. Am trying to find info on my ggg-grandmother, Prudence Dunbar and her ancestry. Here is the little I do know: She was born in 1815, maybe in PA, but not sure. She lived in E. Penn Twp., Northampton Co., PA (near Philadelphia) at the time of her marriage on 16 Jul 1828 to Benjamin Irvin (Irvine) (spelled Irwein in a German newspaper account of their marriage that I found). Prudence died on 22 April 1881 in Tioga Co., PA and is buried there. Their children were: John, Samuel, Martha, William, David L., Charles, Elizabeth, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander, James, Emeline (Emma). I have birth and death dates for most of these children and the extended line on Samuel (my gg-grandfather). If you know anything about Prudence's siblings, parents, etc. I would be most appreciative of your assistance. This is a long time brick wall for me. I keep hoping someone new will join this list, see my post, and say - "Hey! I know that person!" I can dream, right? :-) Diana Ryman Ohio ______________________________________________ This email has been scanned by Netintelligence http://www.netintelligence.com/email No virus found in this incoming message.
