Hi group, how are you all. I'm searching for a Frank Michie born about 1872 in Greenock, Renfrew. father; George Michie mother; Catherine Paterson or Forrest. Frank had two older brothers, James born 1868 and George born 1871. On Franks's death certificate in 1941 he is married to a Margaret ?. Frank was a Coach builder on his death cert and a widower. He died at the Crighton Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh. Frank is the grandson of my great great grandmother Bessy Forrest, ms Gray. On the 1881 census Frank and George are surnamed Mackie (perhaps a spelling mistake) and living with their grandparents George and Bessy Forrest in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire. Brother James is renamed James Souttar living with his mother Catherine and her 2nd husband John Souttar in Peterhead. James was born illigitimate and I could'nt find a marriage for his parents Catherine and George, so maybe they did'nt marry, or births for George and Frank on Scotlandspeople.
