My Douglas line comes from Cummertrees - William Douglas and Mary Johnston(e) late 1700's as indicated on the headstone in the Cummertrees Church cemetary. It is partially weathered but was transcribed (incomplete) by Shannon and Gilchrist. Does anyone have a complete transcription of this headstone and / or other Douglas burials in Cummertrees ??
