John who died in 1874 at Muiravonside was the son of William Grierson and Jean Lottimer, and Samuel Grierson the baker was probably his brother, while John the innkeeper who died in 1843 was their cousin. If anyone has any links to them I'd be pleased to hear from them. Does anyone know anything more about this Joseph?
