    1. Hi all You may remember that I joined the list last week. I was the naive one who wrote my entire mail in capitals!! Sorry again. I was looking for any information re HUGH BYRON and his wife AGNES GIBSON. I had records of their marriage and of their son's (my great great grandfather) birth but couldn't trace them on the 1851 census. I was dropped a line by a member, suggesting that I look again at the information that I had for more clues and, low and behold, I found that they were both from Orchardton. I have now traced them on the 1851 census, definitely them as all stats match, using the surname BRYSON. They were farm labourers at Orchardton and I am again asking for your assistance....have tried searching SCOTLANDSPEOPLE without any success. I would be most grateful for any assistance, even if just to find out about the farm. Many thanks Andy ----------------------------------------- Email provided by http://www.ntlhome.com/
