I wonder if anyone is looking for the following names might be interested?     3. Hello, Christa-- William Halliday and J MIKEN are mine, I think. From Howard Sproat's, Scotland: Old Parish Records: Parish of Girthon: Kirkcudbrightshire: Marriages 1818-1854 (examined, if I recall correctly, at the Family History Center in Dumfries), I have: "March 19, 1822 William Halliday of Ernambrie, Parish of Crossmichael to Jessie McMiken of High Creoch" Jessie was a sister of my great-great-grandfather. Does the entry from the Register for Scotland provide any further information than that above? If so, I'd be very pleased to have it. Cheers.
