<In response to Patrick Dunbar's query of June 15.> Hi Patrick. I'm just now catching up on email and saw your post of June 15. I am researching the Dunbar family from Ruthwell (John Dunbar 1743-1821 who married Elizabeth "Betty" Hill abt 1750-1790) and their descendants. I've previously posted part of the family history, (based on my research and collaboration with other helpful researchers) on Ancestry.com's free World Tree. If you type in both of their names in the Ancestry.com family tree search, you should be able to pull up the tree "easily" (I hope.) I also have additional source information I didn't post with the tree but which I'm happy to share. Please let me know if I can provide any additional information. And I'll add my annual reposting here: does anyone have information on the ancestors of the above mentioned John Dunbar and Elizabeth Hill? They both continue to be my brick walls. They had three children: William, Susanna, and Jean (Jane). Their three children and many of their descendants were raised in Ruthwell, although William's son, George (1813-1882) moved to Canada (which is the primary branch I'm researching). Thanks for any help!
