Hi - Does anyone have access to the 1891 and 1901 Census? If so, can I ask a huge favour.....please!! I'm looking for a couple of families and I think (operative word) they lived on High Street. One family supposedly lived next to the Carlisle House - through an archway into some kind of courtyard, the other lived close to a shop is it possible to find the name of the shop and who the proprietor was? The surnames are MURRAY & JOHNSTON. I would also like to ask if Howrig is a street or a farm, or what???? Thanks a lot May
