The free Scotland Census project has been going on for a while now with many willing helpers. Now as the coordinator for the Dumfrieshire area i am going to start the transcription of the 1841 census i am asking any and every one who read these lists if they have the time to become a helper... What is needed is people to transcribe records from the original Census records and then people to check the transcribed files.. I am here to give all help and support that may be needed and keep the project going..
