G'day , I have been doing some searches using Batch Numbers. In the GENUKI page on "Finding L.D.S. Batch Numbers". At step 8 it also says: "In cases where the prefix is not specified, this step can only be a matter of trial and error - prefixes C, P and M are the most common prefixes and should be tried first, but E, I and J do occur quite regularly." Thus far, as far as I can recall, I have not seen any prefixes except C and M in Dumfriesshire. Has anyone with more experience than I ever come across P, E, I or J? If I don't have to try them it saves a bit of time ;-) TIA Mike. Mike CALDER http://members.optusnet.com.au/mikecalder/ Researching: CALDER, DIXON, TUSON, GRACIE D&GFHS #2979
