Hello: I have a basic question to which I do not presently know how to find the answer to, concerning the geography of a certain place listed in an a Will, dated September, 1778, by one James Grierson, (Colonel) of the Loyal Militia, Province of Augusta, Georgia, North America. He mentions his father, Thomas Grierson, Esq., lives on the estate of Larbreck, in the parish of Irongrey, near Dumfries, North America. Can anyone who knows, please give any details of this location, more specifically this place known as LARBRECK?
